Track Phantom Major League Baseball Starting Pitcher Report, Strike Zone, will be available most days this summer. It is an advanced data driven report that combines many elements in attempting to predict the performance of the starting pitchers for that day.

Since Strike Zone uses quite a bit of recency data it is not overly effective until about late April, early May.

Every umpire has been classified as either over/major over, under/major under and neutral. Over leaning umpires tend to have smaller strike zones that put the onus on the pitcher to throw it into a tighter window. This favors the hitter.
